Call for Proposals

If you are interested in presenting a session, please use the 2020 proposal form to submit. In addition to the student focused sessions, we will also have a track for staff coordinators. If you are staff coordinator, and you wish to submit a proposal, please use the same form.

2020 Proposal Form

Our team will review the proposals and select programs we feel are aligned with the goals of the conference. Priority will be given to presentations that include a takeaway component and share ideas students and staff can bring back to their universities and communities.

Conference Info

This annual conference brings together student EcoReps, sustainability interns, and faculty and staff advisers from around the region for a weekend of peer leadership training and collaboration. In 2020, the conference will change venues and the host institution will be Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. The conference is planned by a committee of graduate and undergraduate students, led by staff members of the host institution.

History of the Conference: Since the first annual conference in 2012, this event has been held in the Green Quad’s Learning Center for Sustainable Futures at the University of South Carolina.  The decision was made to begin allowing other institutions to host, beginning in 2020. Over the years, 20 different colleges and universities from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia and Texas have attended this important event.
