SEEC Blue Ridge Parkway clean-up event
Our first event the semester is taking place BEFORE our first meeting. We will be running a mass trash clean-up on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Ultimately, we are trying to limit the amount of the waste being blown all over the mountains and campsites, since there is currently no one being paid to tend to the upkeep of the national park. This is where we go in! The event will take place on Saturday, February 2nd. We will all meet at a specific part on the parkway at 10 AM. We will have a small gathering, and then people will split up and tackle different parts of their parkway. This event is completely determined by you, so you can leave when you want or stay as long as you'd like. The club will provide trash bags, recycling bags, latex gloves, and some snacks. I will send more details to those who are interested, as the date draws closer.
